When her childhood friend passed away suddenly, she inherited a small collection of her jewellery. They were lovely pieces with sapphires and diamonds, but their vintage look didn't suit her. She wanted to eventually re-gift them to her friend's daughter, who would be more likely to wear a modern design.
This piece represents the circle of caring, as she cared for her friend in her last days, took care to refurbish her jewellery, and will eventually re-gift it to her friend's daughter hoping she will someday wear it at her wedding as her something blue.
