Inspired by other DG designs using negative space and incorporating special inherited pieces, this beautiful pendant was born. A celebration of her Mother-in-law, it incorporates an original hand engraved gold piece and marquise shaped jade from a bracelet as well as sentimental diamond jewellery found in a safety deposit box after her passing just over a year ago.
“When the family was forced to flee Cambodia due to the war, the only asset they were able to bring to Canada was jewellery. This pendant is a tribute to my Mother-in-law, represents their previous life in Cambodia, and will be handed down to our daughter as a family heirloom.”
