Connection and Joy

To honour the memory of her parents, we transformed the diamonds from her father’s ring—gifted by her mother decades ago—into a stunning asymmetrical ladies' ring that she now wears daily, keeping them close to her heart. This ring, completed on the last day of her 50th year, became a deeply meaningful gift from her parents, even though they are no longer with her. The process of creating this piece, using both her father’s ring and credit from her mother’s gold, was emotional, but seeing the final result brought her a profound sense of connection and overwhelming joy.

“My overall redesign experience was excellent but very emotional for me personally. From our first meeting when Linda took me through inspirations of designs that I liked, to the sketch phase of taking my top inspirations and putting them together with the diamonds I had for the project; to the difficult decision to okay the team to dismantle the original jewellery, to the joy of the next stage of trying on the plastic template  to ensure I was satisfied with the design to the eventual pick up of my stunning ring.  My parents would be very happy with me that I did this for myself with the jewellery they left for me.”
