The inspiration from this piece was from a beautiful new line we are carrying at DG. She wanted to create a new home for her emerald cut amethyst which was a gift from her husband, from special trip they took to St. Maarten. The setting was too high and uncomfortable in the original ring, so it sat in her jewellery box. Now, as a necklace, it holds memories of their trips and is a simple way to cherish their adventures every time she wears it.
