Custom Anniversary Upgrades
Our client's cherished diamonds bloomed into the most stunning of floral craftsmanship. Together, they honour 50 wonderful years of marriage with a redesign of the rings he'd given her over the years. Her diamond engagement ring was an heirloom passed down through generations.
A floral motif discovered within the train of her wedding dress was recreated in yellow gold, beautifully complimenting her center and accent diamonds. Each flower represents a decade of commitment and love for each other, with fond memories of the daisy bouquet she'd walked down the aisle with. We salvaged her well-kept original diamond anniversary bands, using them as the border for this meaningful botanical center.
We passionately created a warm display of their memories; one that will only inspire them to create many more together.
This breathtaking piece of art was created for our client’s 50th birthday, gifted from her husband. Many priorities had to be achieved, first by obscuring a square design to match her treasured wedding band. She also wanted a vintage look and feel which was represented by intricate hand engraved patterns, edged by the finest milgrain beading. Side stones were included to represent their daughter and two beloved dogs.
“After searching in the UK, Europe, Canada and the US for a jeweller, I found Dana’s Goldsmithing right in Ontario! Dana and her team understood my vision and the end result is simply breathtaking. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and the process in creating this piece of art. It was worth the drive to Port Perry.”
A lost baguette cut diamond was the catalyst for a complete Wedding Set redesign to celebrate a Milestone Anniversary. Our client wanted to retain some of the character of the original rings, so we added elements both in style and sentiments, incorporating a special ring of his grandmothers to the design.
Celebrating a milestone anniversary, they decided it was time to honour their beautiful relationship. Taking diamonds from her original engagement ring, along with rings inherited and gifted to her by her parents, we created a new wedding band that pays homage to the original ring, as well as the many changes in their life that are reflected in the angles and surprises in the new design. This redesign is a time stamp for their next chapters, representing being surrounded and supported by those she holds dearest.
Without compromising her original engagement ring design, we created a larger version of the same design 20 years later and incorporated some of her original diamonds in the new ring. This spectacular three-stone design has a total carat weight of 2.5 carats and is set in platinum.
The smaller princess cuts from her original engagement ring we made into keepsake earrings for her daughter who now has a little piece of both parents.
