This ring was a special surprise for his wife which incorporated many personal details. He was born in Ireland and the Celtic pattern was replicated from the their wedding bands. His birthstone, aquamarine was used as the centre stone surrounded by diamonds from a tennis bracelet not being worn. When the couple met they were both working on a horse farm and so a small horseshoe was placed from the side view.
