A Remarkable Marquise
The day our client took home her milestone 10-year anniversary diamond band, now shared the date they found out that their son’s cancer had spread. That New Year's Eve and just shy of his 2nd birthday, he lost an untenable fight. His doctors warned them that his cancer and later this loss, would either make or break their marriage. The last 20 years without their son has been indescribable to say the least, but they made it with the love and support of their children. Their 30th anniversary is fast approaching, so it was the perfect time to create a wedding set that symbolized everything they had been through together.
Her original marquise center is highlighted with a diamond halo, compiled of diamonds we harvested from her old set. Our client’s family was here every step of the way, offering input and ideas along the way. When her son’s twin-sister suggested that each band have 4 diamonds to represent the 4 children, she knew it was the perfect finishing touch to her gorgeous new set.
