"This ring commemorates both the Alhambra and Isabel la Católica, Spain's greatest (and highly controversial) monarch. Its graceful lines, cast in the tensile strength and weight of platinum, echo the tracery of Moorish and Mughal art from Agra to Andalucía, from the Taj Mahal to the Court of the Lions. A dark, diamond flames at its heart like firelit water in the night, mute witness to the chequered history of this place, and this woman."
