Gift to Herself
A gift to herself in honour of her special birthday, six alexandrite’s represent the decades of her life. Celtic emblems symbolize her Irish, English, and Scottish background and original shamrocks from her maternal grandmother’s actual promise ring are embedded in the design, a piece that was given to her as the first grandchild to attend University.
Her love of baguette cut diamonds meant we had to include them in the design as well as diamonds from her mother’s and both grandmother’s engagement rings. Her mother’s original wedding adds support to the design from the back.
Celebrating her accomplishment of paying off both of her homes, this ring also celebrates three generations of professional women with engraved initials inside of both grandmothers, her mother, and hers.
