In memory of her late husband, she created this piece to honour him and their shared family. Her husband, a retired member of the RCAF, was very proud of his 20 years of service, so it was important that this was represented by recreating a stylized RCAF emblem. Incorporating this central component with diamonds from her husband and her original wedding band, initially created using her mother and grandmother’s pieces, an intricate familial piece has been brought to fruition.
